Meet the Team: Kyle from Melbourne Central
How would you describe your style?
It’s hard to put a label on it - I'm always trying new looks and updating my image depending on the occasion or the statement I want to make. When in a suit I like to keep it simple and clean. Some would say i'm quite corporate with my own twist on a classic look. With casual wear, I like to funk things up and just build on basic items with colour, prints and accessories.
What is one item in your wardrobe that you cannot imagine living without?
Over the years my best friend has become my classic navy suit. Versatile and elegant, it's my weapon of choice for most occasions.
What’s your favourite item in the store right now and why?
The latest collection has some really unique and quirky items that I love, but my favourite at the moment would have to be the Linen Blazer. It’s an incredible texture, colour and fit, which means it is easy to dress up or down.
What’s one piece of advice you always give your clients?
Be yourself - the way you dress is an extension of your character and shows how you want to be perceived by others, so make it unique to your personality.
What is your favourite part of your job?
The people. I work alongside an incredibly passionate and motivated team, as well as getting to meet new people in-store everyday. Even if it's as small as having a chat about their day to organising outfits for groomsmen, I'm a part of a great team and get to make new customers happy every day.
Your top three styling tips to any Man of Calibre?
1. Be open minded - don't be afraid to try new things, you will often be surprised!
2. Keep it simple - sometimes less is more, so get your basics right then be adventurous.
3. Shop smart - Build a versatile wardrobe with items that can be worn in different ways, then focus on one off pieces.
Who is your ultimate style icon?
David Beckham - whether his in ripped jeans and a T-shirt or in a three piece suit he looks like a king. He changes his look constantly and is always setting trends. He has no boundaries and can do no wrong because he has his own style.
When you are not working in-store what do you like to do?
When I’m not at work, I am usually playing soccer, catching up with friends over drinks or spending time with family.
